I went to Mill Hill, Shoreham for an evening walk. I got to the Shoreham on the 700 bus from central Brighton, and walked from the foot bridge bus stop to Mill Hill along the Adur Estuary. Like yesterdays evening walk at the Devil's Dyke, Brighton, the sun was low in the sky and lit up the steep west-facing slope of Mill Hill (famous since the 19th century for butterflies) in golden light.
