Malling Down Nature Reserve is behind (north) of Lewes. To get there from Stanmer Park I took the 28 bus from the Lewes Road to Lewes, I returned on the 28 to Brighton from Lewes. see 28 - Brighton-Tunbridge Wells | Brighton & Hove Buses
