16.45-17.15

Weather: Temp: 18 C; wind 5 mph SW. Cloudy then heavy rain

From Ovingdean to Rottingdean

Initially I saw 1 singleton bird on cliffs and 3 birds in flight; then the birds in flight landed on sites on the cliff (making 2 pairs;

The initially singleton bird on the cliffs (facing backwards) may have been feeding a chick at the back of the hole in the cliffs but no chick was seen.

One of the pair on the cliffs seem to be displaying pair bonding behaviour

From Rottingdean to Saltdean

No Fulmars seen

Total birds seen: 4

This may have been an under count as it was a very difficult to see in the heavy rain.
