(a) Morning 11.00 - 12.00


Weather: 7 C; 6 mph easterly wind; sun; rising tide


Total number of Fulmars seen: ca. 10


Observations:


There were four pairs perching on nest sights; and about 6 birds flying to and from the cliffs on short journeys over the sea. Some birds flew east to west, east to west parallel to the face the face of the cliffs, possibly locating their nest sites.

(b) Afternoon 14.30 - 15.00


Weather: 7 C; 6 mph easterly wind; sun; high tide


Total number of Fulmars seen: 10


Observations:


There were few birds perching on the cliffs (only one pair seen), the other birds were flying; to and from the cliffs on short journeys over the sea; some birds were seen flying higher, above the top of the cliffs
